To this end, all the necessary studies and analyses have been carried out to identify the needs in relation to universal accessibility of the Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia. The accessibility conditions of pedestrian routes in the urban environment, buildings and main facilities and street furniture have been analysed. The environment of public transportation and public communication elements. To this end, a Citizen Participation process was previously carried out, mainly through surveys and working groups with the main representatives and workers present in the Park, in order to identify all the barriers present in each area.

Based on the conclusions obtained from this Diagnostic Analysis, the Action Plan has been drafted, focusing on the development of three main lines of action:

  1. Accessibility in the public space.
  2. The implementation of accessible public buildings.
  3. Accessibility in communication.

Finally, the Accessibility Plan proposes an estimate of the necessary investment for the implementation of the proposed actions, as well as a time frame for their development.
